The Newcastle Knights have made a number of changes to their 18-man squad for Sunday’s game against the Melbourne Storm at AAMI Park.
Akuila Uate, Adam Cuthbertson and Craig Gower join the team for David Fa’alogo, Neville Costigan and Adam Clydsdale.
Uate returns from a rib injury, Cuthbertson from a neck injury and Gower will make his debut for the Club after signing with the Knights earlier this week.
David Fa’alogo suffered a knee injury at training this week and will be sidelined for between four and six weeks while Neville Costigan will play NSW Cup on Sunday and Clydsdale returns to NYC.
“We are taking 18 to Melbourne and will finalise the bench tomorrow,” coach Wayne Bennett said after training on Saturday.
Traveling team: Boyd, McManus, Gagai, Leilua, Naiqama, Mullen (c), Roberts, Snowden, Waddell, Mason, Rochow, Houston, Smith, Scott, Sims, Cuthbertson, Uate, Gower.
